Summary
Headwall, Headwall TV and this website collect no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. The apps communicate only with devices on your local network.
What the apps do on your network
Headwall (iPhone/iPad) and Headwall TV (Apple TV) discover Headwall walls on the same Wi-Fi using Bonjour, and exchange timer state with them directly. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. The apps do not use the internet at all.
What is stored on your device
When you pair a phone with a wall, the wall issues a pairing token. The phone stores it in the iOS Keychain so you don't have to pair again; the Apple TV stores its own token and the name of the wall it follows. Workouts you write on the phone stay on the phone. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Camera
Headwall asks for camera access only to scan the pairing QR code shown on the wall. Frames are processed on the device and never stored or transmitted.
Local network permission
iOS asks before Headwall may find devices on your Wi-Fi. That permission is used only to find and talk to Headwall walls.
This website
headwall.app sets no cookies and runs no analytics or scripts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which may keep ordinary server logs (such as IP address and requested page) for the security and operation of its network.
If you write to support@headwall.app, we keep the correspondence to answer you, and for nothing else.
Children
The apps and this site are not directed at children and collect nothing from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new effective date.
